Amentoli Zhimomi

Amentoli Zhimomi is the Founder and CEO of the Alashi Foundation, an organization based in Nagaland, India, dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Her advocacy began following her daughter’s diagnosis, inspiring a mission to promote understanding, acceptance, and dignity for those with disabilities.

Guided by empathy and a clear vision, she works collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders to build inclusive and supportive environments. Through the Foundation, she leads initiatives focused on awareness, resource development, and advocacy, with particular emphasis on ensuring families feel informed, connected, and empowered from the time of diagnosis.

Beyond her professional work, she values family life and draws continual inspiration from her daughters, whose lives shape her purpose and commitment.
